The Americas Payroll team is seeking a temporary contingent worker to provide payroll operations and systems support. This role will assist with payroll reporting, data analysis, employee support activities, process documentation, operational readiness efforts, and project initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess experience with payroll systems, reporting tools, and process improvement activities, with a strong focus on accuracy, customer service, and analytical problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, maintain, and analyze payroll, HR, time, and absence reports using ADP GlobalView, Workday, Excel, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Support payroll audits, reconciliations, data validation, and year-end readiness activities.
- Research and respond to employee inquiries and Workday Help cases using established procedures and templates.
- Assist with payroll systems administration, reporting, troubleshooting, and issue investigation.
- Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, job aids, and workflow documentation.
- Perform data analysis using Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with payroll team members and business partners to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Assist with testing, validation, and implementation activities related to payroll systems, reporting, and interfaces as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the relevant field
- Experience with ADP GlobalView payroll systems.
- Working knowledge of Workday HCM, reporting, and time and absence functionality.
- Experience supporting payroll operations, reporting, or payroll-related processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain process documentation and written procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll interfaces, integrations, or data feeds.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, Python, or similar automation and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end activities.
Experience participating in system implementations, acquisitions, or business integration activities.
